Welcome to Kingsbridge Medical Practice
Opening Times and booking appointments
Our Practice is open from 8am to 6:30 pm Monday to Friday and closed on Bank Holidays. Our front door, phones and eConsultations all open and close at the same times. If you have a medical need while we are closed, please contact 111, or 999 if its a medical emergency.
We highly recommend the NHS App for all access to the NHS: NHS App and your NHS account – NHS
If you wish to book a Practice Nurse appointment then you can do this via the NHS App, over the phone or in person at reception. If you wish to book any other type of appointment such as a GP appointment, then please complete an eConsultation form: Contact us about your request – Accurx Patient Portal

Accessible Information Standard
It is a requirement of the Health and Social Care Act 2012 that our patients receive information in a way they can access and understand.
If you have any information or communication needs we would like to know so we can help meet those needs.
For example, we want to be sure that you can read and understand information provided to you during medical appointments or in writing.
Please tell us if you need information in any other format than standard print or if you have any special communication requirements.
Named Accountable GP
From the 1st April 2015 all patients registered at the Practice will have a named accountable GP. This does not mean that you have to see this specific Doctor nor does it mean that you will always be able to have an appointment with your named GP. Your Doctors name can be obtained from reception.
Help Us to Help You
Our team work hard to offer the very best service we can to our patients in challenging circumstances. The demand for our services is very high so please let us know in advance if you are unable to attend an appointment – we can then offer it to another patient. Please also try to be punctual – all of our clinics are fully booked and time isn’t available to squeeze patients in who miss their scheduled appointment time.
We aim to treat all of our patients with dignity and respect and our staff deserve the same in return. We have a zero tolerance approach to violence and abuse. Any abusive behaviour, physical or verbal, towards our staff or other patients will be taken very seriously. In the case of violence, the police will be informed and you will be removed from our Practice patient list.
